Commentary - I've had home thoughts about the Jihadist threats to the US . . .

And now for something different . . .

Typically I put my thoughts down on paper.  While that has served me well . . . when I chewed on the San Bernadino attack, the Paris attacks and the mass migration of Muslims into Europe . . . it seemed that words might serve me better.  See what you think . . .

Pew completed a comprehensive poll this month that provided much of the information for this post.  You can read the poll here.

Let me know what you think of the video approach . . .

  1. Thanks for the post. People who are really concerned about the safety of themselves and their loved ones may take help from the Firearms safety training classes so as to have proper training and license to carry the gun.

  2. You referenced this video on our conversation not to long ago on FB. I got 25% through it, so I'm not all the way yet, but had to pose a question. You state pew research as your source, which is great! Facts work wonders for any cause. What I have an issue with is your "expansion of said facts". This is a direct quote at 4:29. "American is secondary. Our founding culture/our birth cultures if you will, are now what's important. So the chances are that a significant number of the folks that are immigrants, again, regardless of nationality, faith, or whatever, they no longer see the value of becoming American, they simply want the benefits of living on American soil." Now, as I listened to you say this, I couldn't help remembering My history classes in school that taught nothing about my ancestors (or anybody's for that matter), wanting to become a part of the culture that was already here ergo Native American culture. What I was taught, was that the early settlers took the land, refused to integrate into established culture, because they didn't see the value in becoming Native American, they simply wanted the benefits of living on American soil. What I see is that it's been our birth culture from the beginning of the USA. It appears that I had a different textbook that other schools.
